Immunization Law has changed for the 2008-09 school year. Changes are indicated in bold.
All students in grades K-12 must now have:
- 4 doses of tetanus ( 1 dose on or after the fourth birthday)
- 4 doses of diphtheria (1 dose on or after the fourth birthday)
- 3 doses of polio
- 2 doses of measles ( 1st dose on or after the first birthday)
- 2 doses of mumps
- 1 dose of rubella
- 3 doses of hepatitis B (properly spaced)
- 2 doses of varicella or written statement from physician indicating month & year of disease or serologic proof of immunity. (1st dose on or after the first birthday).
In addition, all students entering Grades 7-12 must have:
- 1 dose of tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis (Tdap)
- 1 dose of meningitis vaccine (MCV4)
