Journey Around the World Project:

SAVE THE DATE! Our "Journey Around the World" Open House will take place on May 27th from 6:30-8:00 PM at Dickson.

This is a school-wide, interdisciplinary project funded by a grant from the Woodland Hills Foundation where students (grades K-6) research and experience culture, history and geography of various regions around the world through “virtual travel”. The project is taking place from March through the end of May 2010. Students are studying the following regions:

Kindergarten: North America (including Caribbean Islands)

1^st Grade: Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, Micronesia, Polynesia)

2^nd Grade: Central & South America

3^rd Grade: Europe & Russia

4^th Grade: Africa

5^th Grade: West Asia

6^th Grade: East Asia
